Hello gorgeous, today I'm super excited to be sharing my review & swatches of the upcoming 'This the Season collection from Paint it Pretty Polish. It'll be launching on the 17th of November so I'm eager to share these swatches with you, so yea... let's just drive right into this post.

First polish I'll be showing you swatches of is Baby It's Cold Outside, which is a clear base polish packed with tons & tons of duochrome/iridscent micro flakie particles. The particles in this polish have the same shifting properties as "unicorn pee" polishes. This polish was designed to be a topper, & it does give various colours & finishes that extra umph. For the swatches below I applied it using a cosmetic sponge, which built up the particles evenly giving them the stunning finish you see below.
I absolutely love colours like this shiny because then it really catches the light & shows you all of it's colour shifts.

I also really enjoy this matte due to the fact that it deflects the light, giving the shimmers the ability to shiny without the glare, it also gives them a morn soft, delicate look. The matte top coat I used was the Essie Matte About You.

The nail art look I created using it as a base, was inspired by the name of the polish. I created this look using the Lina Nail Art Supplies Winter 01, it was perfect because it had the "Baby it's cold outside" text on it.
I stamped them using the Bundle Monster Monocle because it's such a large clear stamper it allows me to see the entire nail plate, so I can ensure that it's centred. The polish I used to stamp the text with was Girly Bits Sea You Next Fall. & The trees were stamped with a combination of Girly Bits Walnuts About You & Stump Up The Jam. The snow was stamping using Mundo de Unas White.
I stamped them using the Bundle Monster Monocle because it's such a large clear stamper it allows me to see the entire nail plate, so I can ensure that it's centred. The polish I used to stamp the text with was Girly Bits Sea You Next Fall. & The trees were stamped with a combination of Girly Bits Walnuts About You & Stump Up The Jam. The snow was stamping using Mundo de Unas White.
The Winter 01 plate as multiple tree images as well as multiple snow images, however I believe these the bare trees, & the tiny falling snowflake dots worked the best for what I envisioned. After the stamping I added a coat of Essie Matte About You.

Next polish is Better Not Pout, which is a purple base with a ton of different coloured shimmers, & micro flakes. It's kind of like a confetti purple, it's fun & playful & has a lot of dimension. The shimmer & flakes don't leave any texture so when you top coat it, it's completely smooth.

The stampicure I did over Better Not Pout was created using the Lina Nail Art Supplies Winter 01 stamping plate, Girly Bits It's Near Leaf Fall.

The third polish I'm showing is Christmas Cheer which is a frosted teal, it looks a tad more blue in these photos tho. This polish has a metallic holographic finish, it's a shimmer base, not creme. In the sun it really shines, the metallic base as well as the holographic particles, just gorgeous!

The frostiness in this polish inspired me to add something else frosted to it, at first I was thinking large snowflakes but I didn't want to over do it with all the snowflakes. However I seen this image on the Lina Winter 0l (side note, if you can't tell it's my favourite plate right now, you must be blind.), which looks like they're frozen branches or frozen brushes. So I was super excited because it's pretty much the image I really wanted just didn't realized I already had it. The white stamping polish I used for this was the Cre8tion 01 white.

This beauty is Let It Snow, which I'd either like to call a pastel gold ahaha, a goldish silver or a champagne colour. Not really sure how to describe it. It is super gorgeous, contains super fine holographic particles within. It's not super packed with them, so it's more of a subtle touch of rainbow.

For this stampicure, big surprise! I used the Lina Winter 01 stamping plate. The polish I used to stamp with is the Girly Bits Sea You Next Fall.

Up next is this blue beauty which is called Merry & Bright, which is a gorgeous bright blue, kind of s shimmy finish, however there's also holographic glitter in there, tiny micro flakie particles as well as other shimmers.

The stamping plate I used for this manicure was a random one I got from either eBay or Amazon, to be honest I can't remember. I do believe if you search Christmas stamping plates you should be able to find it or something similar. The stamping polish I used for this manicure is Mundo de Unas Gold.

Last but not least is Sleigh All Day, which is a gorgeous bright metallic red with loves of holographic particles, again not enough to take over, but just enough to compliment it.

The stampicure I did over Sleigh All Day, was done with the Lina Winter 01 plate & the Mundo de Unas White. I wish I had a plate with just a sleigh or sleigh & deer or santa, you know something that would have been perfect for the name.
