Nicka K New York True Matte | Santa Fe & Hopbush

Hey loves, hope you're all doing well. I gave myself a bit of a break since I was just hammering out posts one after another & even tho it's very productive, it can be very draining mentally, I don't know how some do it. Anyways, enough of the that, let's get into today's review. It'll be on the Nicka K New York True Matte Liquid Lipsticks.

The packaging is rather simple & straight to the point, I do enjoy when the tube isn't frosted so I can see the true colour of the product. There is a big white circle that says True Matte, so you wont miss them when you're in your local beauty supply. The applicator is the original flocked doe foot.

The formula is a more thinner consistency, it's not really a creamy. Although even with the thinner consistency it was pretty opaque, I used maybe 3 dips to get a fully opaque lip. There is a bit of a chemical scent, I feel like it smells like a marker but my hubby says he thinks it smells like medicine.

The wear of these are pretty good for the price. These lippies were like $1-3.00, & they lasted probably about 3-4 good hours of course I did eat a good amount of greasy food, so probably 4-6 hours without the greasy food. Due to the thin consistency they were really comfortable on the lips. The only thing that is rather unpleasant about them is the fact that the chemical scent does linger even after it's fully dry. Speaking of which they take about 5 minutes to completely dry, of course this will vary depending on your environment.

They're extremely affordable & worth the try for sure!
