Ello beautiful, to continue on with this matte liquid lipstick series I got going on here, I'll be telling you all about my experience with the L.A. Splash Velvet Matte liquid lipstick in the shade Flix n Chill.

I believe this is from a summer collection or something, so it does have different packaging than other Velvet Matte liquid lipsticks I've seen. However I really adore this packaging, it's super cutesy. I'm not sure if it's just the way I feel about this certain one, but I absolutely love the way the colour of the lipstick look with the pink flowers & metallic pink details.
The applicator is your average flocked doe foot, nothing crazy about it. It gets the job done, so I can't complain.

The formula of the Velvet Matte has a medium to thick consistency, the product is extremely opaque & creamy. When it came to the drying time of the Velvet Matte liquid lipstick, I did find it took longer to dry than other liquid lipsticks I'm used to. It took about 5-7 minutes to dry, so it does give you lot of time to get your application perfect.

The wear on the LA Splash Velvet Matte was amazing, & I honestly mean amazing. It is a bit of a darker berry shade, however it didn't have any cracking or creasing on my lips. Since the formula was so opaque, I was able to get a thinner application, which I believe is why it was so comfortable on the lips. To be even more honest, there was a few times I forgot I was wearing anything. I got probably about 6-7 hours of amazing wear out of it. I also didn't even go easy on it, it was my mother in laws birthday so we ate greasy pizza & Chinese food, also because I wasn't home I didn't drink with a straw. & Yet there was little to none transfer. I think this is most certainly one of the longest lasting liquid lipsticks I've tried, I'd highly recommend checking them out. Their price range is right between drug store & high end, so it's totally worth it!
