Hey guys! I hope you're doing well! I really am exciting to be interviewing indie polish creators. We've seen so many new nail trends because of them & I can't wait too see what they have in store for us next! Since indie polishes are very popular right now I figured there's probably a lot of customers/fans who would love to get to know the person behind all their favourite creations. So that's what I'm going to be trying to help you do!

Mill, I am a dog person. However I love cats too.


What is your nail polish brand & how did you come up with the name?
Anonymous Lacquer. I went through alot of named. Essentially I was supposed to have a partner. This petson had a large following already in nail world. Thing fell through. And I said I can still do this on my own starting from scratch.

What year did you start your brand & what motivated you?
May 2013. I love creating. I wanted something of my own!

Do you remember the name of the first polish you made &/or sold?
Ruby Baby berry red holo.

When creating a new polish, what's your inspiration process?
My inspiration comes from so many different things. Books, TV, media, friends family, my customers.

What is your all time favourite polish that you created?
I can not pick one favorite. I just cant. Ok maybe Wrath. Inspiration is from a favorite book series. The color is too but it was my wedding color as well. No one knows that!!!

What are your 3 top sellers of all times?
Wrath, Pinkini, 701 Fahrenheit.

From your personal experience what are some pros & cons to being a indie polish creator?
Pros hands down are the friends I have met ans continue to meet along the way. Cons the unnecessary drama that gets started.

Where is your brand based? Do you ship internationally?
Virginia!! Yes I do.

What's your favourite mainstream brand?
I'd say Color Club

What's your favourite indie brand?
Ever After

Is there anything else you'd like my readers to know?
I feel like I'm an open book. For the most part that is.
