We've seen so many new nail trends because of them & I can't wait too see what they have in store for us next! Since indie polishes are very popular right now I figured there's probably a lot of customers/fans who would love to get to know the person behind all their favourite creations. So that's what I'm going to be trying to help you do!

Please tell me a bit yourself. (What's you're name? Are you a Cat or dog person? Etc)
First off, I'm not good at talking about myself. I'm a Michigan girl who loves all animals, but currently has four cat babies. In my free time I enjoy watching YouTube and playing the Sims.
What is your nail polish brand & how did you come up with the name?
I own LynBDesigns and I came up with the name while I was in high school. I wanted to become a fashion designer and thought it would be a good name for my label. When I created my brand I thought why not re-purpose the name.

What year did you start your brand & what motivated you?
I started my brand in 2011. It was created from the need to have polish that I couldn't find anywhere else that was based on some of my favorite things.
Do you remember the name of the first polish you made &/or sold?
I created a one bottle wonders collection that consisted of 10 one off polishes. I think the first one I sold was called Celadon. Before that I'd been Frankening for months.
When creating a new polish, what's your inspiration process?
I look for fun quotes in a favorite song, tv show, or movie and create from there. Occasionally I draw inspiration from history and random photos as well.
What is your all time favourite polish that you created?
Thats like asking me to pick a favorite cat. I don't know if I can pick just one. I love Our Little Infinity, Oy with the Poodles Already, and Ultra Clutch. In reality there are very few that I'm not in love with.

What are your 3 top sellers of all times?
Those would be Nightmare Revisited, Our Little Infinity, and Time and Relative Dimension in Space.
From your personal experience what are some pros & cons to being a indie polish creator?
The pros are that I can work from home creating something I love. The cons are that sometimes you can get burnt out. That's when I foray into new product development.
Where is your brand based? Do you ship internationally?
I'm based in Michigan and I do ship internationally.
What's your favourite mainstream brand?
I don't really use mainstream polish anymore. I do use Seche Vite, so I'll go with that.
What's your favourite indie brand?
Probably Digital Nails. Raph has such a creative take on colors.
