I'm actually pretty pleased with this product. I have extremely thick hair so I do need to use more than someone with fine hair. However with that being said even tho I do have to apply more, it doesn't really weigh down my hair. This product isn't too thin or thick, which makes application pretty easy. There is a bit of a scent to it, can't quite put my finger on what it is. However it's not over powering & for the most part the scent fades. I noticed a difference when I used it compared to my hair without it. I do with it had a bit of a defizzer in it as well, that would make the perfect product. Depending on your hair length & thickness it could possibly last you a very long time or not so long time.
If you're in the market for a heat protectant, I'd recommend trying this.
