Hello beautiful, today I have a 4 pan palette to share with you, it's from the brand Ruby Cosmetics which is still pretty new to Canada so let's get right into it.

The Shades Of Perfect Smokey Eyeshadow Kit is a 4 pan palette that contains white, light grey, a darker grey & black. The back of the palette has application instructions on how to apply the shades, which can be extremely helpful to beginners.

I usually do my very best to be positive about products however... I'm not a fan of this one. The cost of the palette is $30.00 CAD & everything about the packaging puts me off. It's a flimsy cardboard & foam package that has no type of closure whatsoever, so the lid just stays open. Which can allow dust to settle on the product or something to nick or gouge the shadows.
Even if you're paying for the quality of the eyeshadows, what's the point of it if your investment isn't protected. To me is that same as when something comes in gorgeous packaging but the product inside is cheap. There needs to be a balance.

The palette has a total of Net WT. of 0.564 / 16g so the pans are 4g each which is a pretty good amount of product compared to most palettes.

The eyeshadows themselves are pretty good quality. They have a really beautiful formula, they're all of equal quality. They're very soft & blendable.

Overall I just wish they would seriously improve their packaging, although the packaging the way it is does allow me to easily depot them & put them in a Z Palette. So there's the silver lining.
