Press Samples

Hello beauties, I'm actually super excited to share this post with you! Today I have 4 Too Faced Melted lipsticks to share with you, so let's jump in & get right to them!
I am such a sucker for beautiful packaging. & Too Faced really knows how to present their products. The packaging is always a 50% mix of cute & 50% elegance, they don't cut corners. Everything's so beautiful that you're going want to keep it on display which can be quite the problem, because the brand is so amazing that you'll become a Too Faced addict & not have enough display room.

The melted packaging is very long & slender, it also has a very distinct shape so if you're ever in a rush & throw it in your purse, when you need to do touch ups & have to rummage through your purse it's quite easy to find.

Chihuahua is a dusty salmon shade with a brown undertones. Chihuahua is a creamy formula that glides on very even.
From all the online pictures it's extremely different from what I expected. Online it looks more of  purple, pink mauvish shade.

Melted Berry is different formula wise compared to Chihuahua. Melted Berry has less of a creamy look & looks more of an opaque gel. I did have a bit of an issue with this one feathering so I would recommend wearing a lip liner with this. It did apply very even, with no patchiness.

Melted Fuchsia is a very vibrant & fun shade that really is very playful. It's absolutely perfect for people who love to step out of the box by expressing themselves with a fun & bold lip. This shade is a combination of the two previous formulas. It is creamy but still has that slight gel like texture. I didn't really have an issue with this shade feathering however just to make sure I'm still going be take caution & use a lip liner. This shade also applied very evenly.

Sugar, is WAY too light for my skin tone as you can clearly see. It made me look very ghostly in person & washed me out as well on camera. I guess the best way I could describe this is a light beige with pink tones. It's very creamy & smooth. I do have pretty pigmented lips so it was a bit iffy around the rim of my lips as some parts of my lip lines are a bit less distinct than others. Unfortunately this colour didn't suit me very well which is very sad because it really is a gorgeous colour.

I really do love the Melted line, they're very smooth, creamy & are very user friendly. If you're interested in seeing my swatch of Melted Marshmallow click right HERE. I highly recommend checking this out in person as pictures online aren't always the exact shade of the product nor will it look the same on you as it does on me. The Melted Marshmallow that I purchased was $25.00 CAD at Sephora. Sephora always has testers available so you can always check out what the shades look like, & if you like test them out in store to make sure you get what you want.

I think the next ones I'd love to try are the Melted Chocolate line. They're so beautiful!!
