Hey gorgeous, as you probably already know, I have extremely oily eyes, which means eye makeup is always an issue when it comes to finding what works. So when I got the opportunity to try the Too Faced Better Than Sex Waterproof mascara, I gladly accepted.

I actually have a small travel size of the original Better Than Sex mascara however I have yet to try it. I've heard a lot of great things about it tho, so when I seen Too Faced released a waterproof version I was very excited because usually that's the only type of mascara I try/use.

The packaging on this is absolutely beautiful, I love the soft foam green/blue colour they chose to use, as well as the little water like droplets to give the tube that wet look effect. It's very clever.

The cost of the mascara is $30 at Sephora 8 mL or 0.27 oz.

My eyelashes are pretty short & stubby, & on top of that they also point straight out so they really do give the illusion that I don't have any lashes at all. Usually anytime I wear makeup I wear the appropriate lashes that go with the look, I do often prefer less dramatic lashes that give me the look of beautiful lashes that I could have actually been born with. However even with lashes I always use a mascara just to help them mingle better.

My experience with this mascara was sadly an unpleasant one. I found it to be extremely wet, and  made my lashes clumpy which did add volume, just not in the way I wanted.

The fact that it's a very wet formula, it made a mess very easily. Anytime I blinked it would end up every where, on my lid, under my eyes. I just kept having to clean it up & do touch ups. You can still see where the mascara got underneath my eye, it leaves me looking like I have bags. I can't stand taking the time to do my make up then having to clean it, cover it or retouch it.

It took a long time to fully dry, I'd say 15-20 minutes. Then once I thought I was done & went to cover my face in a fixing spray as I always do which re-wetted? re-moisturized? it when caused it to smudge again.

So this wasn't for me, which is super sad.
