Hello beautiful, last month I attended Quo Cosmetics Sweet 16, where I got a peek at all the new products that would be hitting the Shoppers Drug Mart shelves. & Just as we were leaving we were given goody bags! YAY!
& in the goody bags was a good amount of the new launches, so today I will be sharing one of my favourites. There's so many good ones but with the contouring rage still going around I figured I'd share this one first!
The packaging, I believe is a mixture of foam & cardboard so it'll protect your products very well. Although I wish the magnetic closure was a bit stronger. Also the the mirror was bigger as well, because on the inside is the same contouring chart that is on the back. So I would prefer that they kept the chart on the pack & just used the space on the inside for a bigger mirror. It'd make it a bit more travel friendly. However it is pretty convenient to have both the mirror & contour chart on the inside, especially if a beginner picks up this palette.
However the brush the comes with it is so soft & absolutely perfect for the job!
The order of swatching is Highlight, bronzer, contour.
The highlight barely shows on my skin, it is a matte light pink. Unfortunately it does not have an shimmer. :'(
The bronzer is nice, it's a warm brown not an orange brown. Which gives you a beautiful inner glow look instead of a fake glow look.
The contour shade is perfect as it's a cool toned brown which is what it's meant to be as it's supposed to create a shadow, not a glow.
This palette is exclusively sold at Shoppers Drug Mart for the price of $23. It comes with everything you need, the makeup, a mirror, a how-to chart & even a brush to apply the product. I'd highly recommend check it out in store as there is also a medium shade as well.
