Sephora Collection - Lipstick Jungle Brush Set

Press Sample

Hey guys, I have been absolutely loving the new launches at Sephora. One of them is this Lipstick Jungle Brush Set which features 5 brushes all in a bright, summer welcoming makeup bag.
The cosmetic bag itself is much roomier than it looks, however it's not too big or bulky. Perfect for protecting your brushes while traveling or even if you're someone who likes to keep a arsenal of cosmetics handy at all times. I absolutely love the colour combination, as well as the tribal inspired print.

The brushes themselves are extremely unique & interesting. Based on the picture below starting from left to right, the brushes featured in this set are Crease, Pointed Brow (yes brow), Angled Shadow, Curved Foundation (Patent Pending) & finally the All Over Powder. I think the two most interesting ones I'm not very familiar with in this set are the Pointed Brow as well as the Curved Foundation.

Crease is a small fluffy domed brush that is perfect for blending together shades in the crease.
Pointed Brow is something that it took a bit of getting used to as I am more familiar with a flat angled brush when it comes to my brows however this one is beautiful to work with. My favourite way to use it was picking up a bit of product & flicking it up a bit which gave my brows a more natural look.
Angled Shadow is actually my prefered brush for applying a under brow highlight. It just fits perfectly.
Curved Foundation is ultimately still being tested but so far I love it for blush, highlight. I'll keep you posted.
I think the two most interesting ones I'm not very familiar with in this set are the Pointed Brow as well as the Curved Foundation.
All Over Powder is amazing, I love it because it's dense enough to pick up my setting powder & dust it under my eyes so concealer wont crease. As well as being soft enough to sweep it away without messing anything up.

This brush set is available at Sephora or online for $68.00. Do I think you need it? Absolutely, I always recommend preparing for summer & trying new things. Plus ya can never have too many brushes.
