So I have been obsessed with the movie Nightmare Before Christmas ever since I was itty bitty.
So the new few manicures I create are going to be inspired by characters from the movie. I know infamous Jack & Sally have been done numerous times so I'll be doing some of the other characters. So let's just get into how I created this manicure & what products I used.

The polishes used were: J. Cat's Guluxy Gemini, OPI Glints of Glinda, Formula X Decadent, OPI Get in the Expresso Lane & Zoya Desiree.

To create the fur I used the Animalistic plate 04 from Moyra & used the tiger stripes design in the second row top right corner.
To create the flannel shirt I used the Fabric Texture plate 02 from Moyra & used the bottom right corner design.
To create my designs, I used Uber Chic's Uber Mat & applied a top coat the nails. Once the top coat was dry I started stamping.
Flannel Shirt: I first started with the flannel shirt designs. Using the Fabric Texture plate 02 from Moyra & stamped with Zoya's Desiree. Then using Formula X's Decadent & a strpping brush I made medium thick lines down the thickest part of the flannel pattern.
Creating this yellow was probably the most difficult part of this manicure. I didn't have a single dusty brown toned yellow so I have to find the right polishes to layer in order to create it. Luckily I love sheer nude polishes. So when I finally found the perfect match after trying roughly 10 different combinations,Then I applied Glints of Glinda & let it set up. Once I was done creating the fur design I applied J. Cat's Guluxy Gemini to my middle & ring finger, peeled the decal from the uber mat, applied it over the wet yellow polish & carefully smoothed it out.
Fur: Using the Animalistic plate 04 from Moyra, I used the Tight print design & using it so the stripes were vertical I stamped & layered Formula X Decadent & Zoya Desiree over each other twice. Once I was done layering I applied once coat of OPI Get in the Expresso Lane to add more dimension to the fur. Then I let it set, applied a coat of OPI Get in the Expresso Lane to my thumb, pointer & pinky nails & then applied the decal.
