I guess it really depends on the recipe you're used to. This scent is most definitely not the prepaid prepackages mass produced gingerbread you buy at the grocery or department store.
This scent is very peculiar because it does & doesn't smell like gingerbread at the same time. It smells like all the spices gingerbread contains but to me it's slightly lacking the sweet bread scent. The scent lasts a very long time & has a fantastic scent throw.
I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves warm & spicy scents ! (=
