Hey guys! Todays post is gonna be on Moisturizing Cleanser + Makeup Remover from Province Apothecary. So lets get right into this review!
I absolutely LOVE this product! I am just thrilled with it! This is an absolutely LOVELY treat! You squirt a bit in your palm, warm the oil up, slather it all over your face in a circular motion and then rinse it off with a warm cloth. It's like a spa retreat in a two minute indulgence. I really loved the gentle oil massage and it added a bit of luxury to the mundane task of make up removal. It made the whole ordeal far more pleasurable than a vigorous scrub, that's for sure!
I liked the added benefits of this product as well, with the raspberry oil helping to stimulating cell rejuvenation and the toning properties added by the frankincense. The remover itself smells primarily of lavender though, which is known for it's healing properties and would do wonders for your face- I wish I had thought of that sooner, as I'm a big fan of essential oil usage in my own home! The combination of that and the bergamot is also incredibly calming and relaxing, which is great as part of your nightly routine.
If you have heavy eye make up to remove, you will need to take a second or third pass over for the rinse to make certain you've stripped everything though, otherwise you may end up with raccoon eyes. That's to be expected with just about any product though and this one is, by far, worth the expense!
