Essence Eye Look & Eyeshadow, Eyeliner & Mascara Review

Press Samples

Hey guys! I hope everyones doing well! Today's post is gonna an eye look & review of some Essence products. So if you want to know my thoughts on these products keep reading!

So first up is the Essence Metal Glam Eyeshadows in the shades 01 Jewel Up The Ocean, 07 Golden Up & 05 Chocolate Jewelery. So I seriously love these eyeshadows. They're super gorgeous & pretty pigmented especially for their price. There is one thing I dislike about these this collection of shadows is that they have a gorgeous shimmer sprayed on the tops. So not is it only slightly misleading but it causes a slightly flakiness when you first use them which I think they could do without. Never the less the pigments underneath is beautiful. & is pretty good quality. I would recommend these to anyone & everyone.

Next is Essence LASHmania Reloaded, which I believe is only available in the shade black. I really enjoy this mascara because the wand mainly. The bristles are defined & firm with a bit of flexibility which is what I love about it allows me to coat the base of the lashes & not just mid-to-tip of the lashes. Because as some of you can probably tell I have short lashes as wand helps. I do wish & am gonna see if they have it in waterproof tho because I have pretty oily eyelids.

This is the Essence Long Lasting Eye Pencil in the shade 19 Hot Scorch. It's a beautiful bronzy copper colour, I used this on my waterline because even tho I was doing a fun bronze smokey look I didn't want it to be to dark & when I applied this I really feel like it completed the look. Also when I wore it previously I wore it on the bottom lashline & smudged it out & It looked fabulous.

So this is the eye look I created with all essence products except for the brushes. The brushes I used were from Modern Minerals  So first I applied the Essence Lid Base on the brow bone. Then I Jewel Up the Ocean & applied that to two thirds of my eyelid starting at the inner corner. & using Chocolate Jewelery & applied it to my outer corner & blended it into my crease.
I have hooded eyes so very little of my eyelid shows so product placement especially for a look like this has to be done a certain way.  Anyways after I did that I applied a bit of the blue just above the crease so you'll be able to see the blue above the crease when my eye is open to help the blue on my lid stand out a bit more. After that I applied Golden up to my inner corner, outer corner & under my brow on the brow bone. Then I applied the Eye pencil to my water line & the LASHmania & TAADAA or as my daughter would say "All done!"
