Revlon Chroma Chameleon Collection Swatches & Review

Hello everyone, today I'll be doing a review & sharing swatches of the Revlon Chroma Chameleon Collection which contains both dou & multi chrome polishes. These polishes were sent to me by Revlon so I can share my honest opinions on them with my readers. So lets get started...

So here I have 7 of the 8 polishes from this collection. The ones I have are from left to right the names are:
Topaz, Pink Quartz, Tanzanite, Gold, Amethyst, Aquamarine, Cobalt
So far by the looks of some of these polishes, some are dupes for other duo/multi chrome polishes that are or have been on the market. I will have a swatch comparison post of some of them next to possible dupes on a later date.

Revlon Amethyst
Amethyst
So to start off with a BANG! we have Revlon Amethyst, which is a very very eye appealing polish. From head on it looks like a purple polish but you can see the shifts of blue, green & gold when you start wiggling your fingers. I used two good coats to achieve these colour intensity.

Revlon Aquamarine

Aquamarine
Next up we have a very beautiful & bright aqua blue. That is PERFECTION, especially for summer! This colour doesn't have as strong as a shift but never the less still a gorgeous pink shift. It applied 2 good coats for this opacity. (=

Revlon Cobalt
Revlon Cobalt
Cobalt
This one sort of bothers me. I am not sure exactly why this polish is in this collection. Well I sort of know but I think they should have held this one off for a different collection. I mean in the bottle you can sort of see a colour shift to a darker blue that has a tint of purple to it. HOWEVER none of it shows up on the nail really. All it really looks like is a shadow. & Don't get me wrong I love the colour, but I just don't think this is the collection for it. For this picture I used two coats.

Revlon Gold
Gold
This polishes is one of the more well known Duo chromes. It has many dupes. Theres not much more that I need to say other then it's a beautiful polish with an amazing colour shift. Only needed two coats.

Revlon Pink Quartz
Revlon Pink Quartz
Pink Quartz
This one is different, it's not as common but still stunning. It's a pink toned gold that shifts to a gold colour. Very beautiful! only needed 2 coats.

Revlon Tanzanite
Tanzanite
Now this one is my favourite out of the bunch! It's a beautiful vibrant purple colour that shifts to a colour I can only explain as a goldy-copper-brown. Yup that's the best way I can explain it. This polish has sucha beautiful & strong shirt. I LOVE IT! 2 Coats used to achieve this !

Revlon Topaz
Topaz
This is a super stunning polishes at first it appears to be a goldish green then when you move your nails you start seeing a darker green & some hits on a beautiful blue! I really enjoyed with one & only two coats were used for this!

OVERALL REVIEW
This polishes are stunning, you may not need all of them but I would suggest that you get at least 1 or 2. I really love how they look & how well they shift from one colour to another. & they're opacity was pretty good too. So I would recommend these to anyone who wants a pretty polish that doesn't exactly keep up with all the new nail polish collection from china glaze, chanel & opi.

Which ones are you gonna get?
Which did you like ?
Do you own any? What are your thoughts on them?

  1. I just put on the gold, rose gold the bottle says. I did 2 good coats and it's nice and opaque, but I'm not noticing any color change, no rose, just gold. Pretty disappointed because it looks so pretty in the bottle. I'm glad I found your review here! Tomorrow I'm going to go get that beautiful amethyst ;-)
Maybe this gold color will pop more in the sun tomorrow, can't wait to find out!
Thank you for this review, it's the best one I found!

  2. I found these in poundland! result! I picked up aquamarine, topaz and pink gold. I like them, and would consider buying Cobalt but wouldn't pay full price for the crummy brush and thin formula x

  3. Great blog and nice review of these Revlon Chroma Chameleon Polishes. I'm going to get some of these and thanks to this review I know which ones I want now (Amethyst, Cobalt, Tanzanite, Aquamarine). Amethyst is definitely my favourite but Cobalt and Tanzanite are gorgeous too.
